Terms
These terms cover using Shark Team (the website at sharkteam.app and the app at app.sharkteam.app). By using Shark Team, you agree to them.
Not medical advice, not for emergencies
Shark Team is a tool for keeping track of care. It doesn't give medical advice, and it isn't a replacement for a doctor, nurse or pharmacist. Vital ranges and alerts are only reminders. In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) right away.
Reminders can be late
Notifications and reminders depend on your phone, its settings and its signal, so they can be delayed or missed. Please don't rely on them alone for anything urgent.
Early access
Shark Team is in early access. It's free during early access, and features may change as we improve it.
Your account and your team
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Only add information about someone if you have their permission, or are allowed to manage their care.
- The Account Holder decides who joins a patient's team and what role they have.
- Please don't misuse Shark Team: no breaking in, overloading it, or using it to harm or harass anyone. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your information
What you and your team add belongs to you. You let us store and process it only to run Shark Team for you. You can export it any time. See our Privacy page for details.
As is
We work hard to keep Shark Team running and your information safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Please keep your own copies of anything important.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
